What is the ITIL® Expert Programme?

The ITIL® Expert Programme is a condensed - powerful learning experience combining years of best practice teaching experience with state-of-the-art learning methods to achieve the required outcome with minimal investment in time and money.

The Programme meets a specific need in the market whereby the ITIL® V3 route to Expert was not only confusing and cumbersome, but long winded and expensive. Until now there has never been a true replacement for the ITIL® V2 Managers programme.

Foster-Melliar has addressed this need by working together with our partners to develop an Expert programme that addresses these needs and more.

We have two goals:
  1. Get you to expert status with the least hassle possible
  2. Make you productive in your company from day one
The Programme was designed with the following objectives in mind:
  • Create a comparative product to replace the ITIL® V2 managers programme
  • Make it easier for individuals to achieve ITIL® Expert status
  • Create a training schedule that is flexible and suites the learner
  • Reduce our Carbon Footprint and promote responsible education

We are happy to say, we have done it!

According to us, the ITIL® Expert programme is now officially the replacement for the V2 managers programme! The amount of classroom days compares almost one-to-one, and from a costing point of view, only slightly more expensive. Achieving ITIL® expert status is now a lot more affordable and not to mention simple and streamlined.

The training schedule has been reworked to allow for more regular times and frequent repetition of the ITIL® intermediate modules, and this ensures that there will be a module for you to attend at the time that best suites you at a major centre in South Africa.

Our last objective was more difficult to achieve, but we are please to say – again, we did it. All manuals are provided to delegates/learners as PDF documents for use on laptops, and computers, and we even have pocket versions* for use on your Kindle, Sony e-reader, iPod, iPod Touch, Smart Phone, etc!! The saving on printing costs is then passed straight back to you. In addition to the course manuals, complementary web based versions of the content is also made available through our learning portal. We have reduced the intermediate classroom course by two and ½ days on average!

This means:

  • less time in traffic,
  • less time away from work
  • and of course, fewer greenhouse gas emissions! (Every little bit helps to save the planet.)
